Parasitic Temples
我們探究了一件小物小事所能達成的不小之物與不小之事
台灣都市夾縫中的廟，是讓台灣的城市有別於世界其它地方最顯而易見的與眾不同，
這些宛如寄生在都市的廟 :
無神不拜
無所不在
無孔不入
無奇不有
它們為數眾多，大隱於市
一些廟在其週邊日漸變化的都市環境下越顯越小，收縮到只佔據最極限的都市空間 ; 一些廟則在都市化過程中留下的剩餘空間尋找夾縫求生，開始嵌入都市與常民建築的某個角落 :
在橋下
在圓環中
在屋頂上
跨越街道
長出輪子
小到一個箱子
大至一棟高樓
WillipodiA 寄生之廟的觀察與紀錄團隊兩年來收集了上百案例與廟與都市的結合關係，這個針對台灣極限的微型宗教空間的現象紀錄與研究將會一周一次地藉由這個平台上發表由我們在台灣收集的上百案例中先挑選出的十八個
多年來走過，工作過，生活過台灣以外的許多城市，回到台灣時才能換一種外來者的視角再一次認識自己熟悉的城市。

The temples within gaps and surplus space of Taiwan Cities environment are the most notable character of Taiwan Cities and differ Taiwan cities from all the others around world. They are looked like parasites in Taiwan cities environment and they are
Polytheism
Omnipresent
Pervasive
Wonders
The temples looked gaps to fit themselves in the surplus space of urbanization. They start to shrink to a minimal occupation. Others embedded into or on a building’s corner:
under a bridge
on a roof
over a street
on a roundabout,
with wheels
As small as a box or as big as a tower.
Willipodia observed and recorded these parasitic temples in the past two years and collected hundreds of cases, how many patterns of the temples parasiting in the urban environment. This research and record about this urban phenomenon in Taiwan will be published one this platform one case one week during the incoming 18 weeks.
For years, I traveled, worked, lived in many cities outside from Taiwan. Then when I returned, I can see the cities I grown up and familiar with an outsider’s perspective.
